A small amount of blood is taken from your arm, in the same way it would be for any other blood test you may get from your GP. Next, the blood is spun in a machine called a centrifuge to separate it into different parts. The part we are interested in is the Platelet Rich Plasma. This component of the blood is packed with healing proteins, enzymes and growth factors that participate in tissue repair, healing and regeneration.
