Each session allows the cumulative benefits of LED light therapy to build, enhancing skin healing, collagen production, and overall rejuvenation. For first-time clients considering lip fillers, 1ml is a common and generally safe amount. It often provides noticeable but natural-looking enhancement without overwhelming your facial features. However, some patients prefer to start with 0.5ml and build the amount from there. Dr Naz always conducts a thorough consultation to assess your specific goals and facial anatomy before proceeding with any treatment. This personalized approach ensures that the amount of filler used aligns perfectly with your desired outcome, whether it's subtle volume or more pronounced fullness. If you have any concerns or preferences, we are here to guide you through the process and tailor the treatment to your comfort level.
-
Should I get 0.5ml or 1ml of lip filler? At Dr Naz Clinics, the decision between 0.5ml and 1ml of lip filler largely depends on your desired outcome and natural lip volume. If you're looking for a subtle enhancement that adds definition and a gentle plump, 0.5ml is often sufficient. This option is ideal for first-time clients or those seeking a more natural look. On the other hand, 1ml offers a more noticeable transformation, suitable for those who want fuller lips and more dramatic results. This amount is beneficial for clients with a larger natural lip structure or for those who have had fillers before and are looking to maintain or increase their volume. IS 50 TOO LATE FOR BOTOX?Absolutely not! Anti-wrinkle injections are suitable for most adults - any age group can potentially benefit from them. We have 2 types of wrinkles: Dynamic wrinkles – those that are only present upon making certain expressions (e.g. frown lines that only appear when you frown) Static wrinkles – those that are present all the time, even when at a resting expression (e.g. frown lines that are present even when you are not frowning) Anti-wrinkle Injections can help both these wrinkle types. After treatment, as the treated muscle(s) is relaxed, dynamic lines will disappear. Over time, as you use the treated muscle(s) less, static wrinkles will also soften. Therefore, even if you have many static lines (which we tend to as we age), with time and with repeated treatments, these can significantly reduce.
-

-
DO WRINKLES COME BACK WORSE AFTER ANTI WRINKLE INJECTIONS?Absolutely not – it’s can be quite the opposite! Once wrinkles form again after the treatment has worn off, many assume that the treatment worsened their wrinkles. This isn't true at all. In fact, repeated anti-wrinkle injections long-term can retrain certain muscles to move less, leading to smoother skin and less need for injections over time.
-
WHAT ARE ANTI WRINKLE INJECTIONSAnti-wrinkle injections are non-invasive injections of a substance called botulinum toxin type A. There are many different brands of botulinum toxin type A. The first readily available brand of botulinum toxin was Botox (registered trademark). For a while this was the only brand available. The name stuck - when people refer to anti-wrinkle injections or botulinum toxin in general, they often use the term Botox.
-
WHAT IS THE BEST AGE TO START ANTI WRINKLE INJECTIONS? WHAT ARE PREVENTATIVE ANTI WRINKLE INJECTIONS?As previously mentioned, all ages can potentially benefit from these injections. However, ‘baby-botox’ is becoming increasingly popular. This is where smaller doses of botulinum toxin are used at a younger age (20s upwards) to help prevent wrinkles from appearing. How does this work? Repeated facial expression leads to wrinkles. Dynamic wrinkles lead to static wrinkles. Static wrinkles – those that are present all the time, even when at a resting expression (e.g. frown lines that are present even when you are not frowning) Dynamic wrinkles – those that are only present upon making certain expressions (e.g. frown lines that only appear when you frown) For example, repeatedly frowning leads to the formation of frown lines that remain even when in a neutral expression (i.e. not frowning). By relaxing certain muscles in your face - e.g. frown muscles - the ability to frown is decreased and therefore dynamic wrinkles are decreased. As you are not crinkling the skin as much and forming wrinkles, static lines are prevented from forming. In this way, anti-wrinkle / botox injections, if used at appropriate doses and frequencies, can be used to maintain youthful skin.
-
HOW LONG DO ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS LAST?Typically, results last between 3-6 months. This varies from person to person, and depends on a variety of factors, including metabolism, which muscles were injected, which brand of botulinum toxin was used and at what dose.
-

WHAT ARE THE RISKS OF DERMAL FILLERS?Like any medical procedure, fillers do have some potential side effects which patients should be made aware of. Most commonly you may see bruising and swelling but this should subside in a few days. There is also a rare possibility of allergic reaction or vessel occlusion (when filler is injected into the vessel blocking the blood supply to the area). As Dr Naz is a GMC registered doctor, she has all emergency medicines to hand during her clinics. She also has the all relevant training and experience to correctly diagnose and resolve any complications. The fillers used in our clinic have a very good safety record and we have seen no serious side effects up to date.
-
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GET DERMAL FILLERS?We start with a detailed consultation to formulate a personalised treatment plan. HOW LONG DO DERMAL FILLERS REALLY LAST?This depends on the type of filler used, the area injected and the individual - everyone metabolises fillers and slightly different rates. They typically last between 9 and 24 months, dependant on all of these factors. However patients can have treatments when necessary after further consultations to keep these topped up.

It also boosts your skin’s production of hyaluronic acid. This acid increases skin’s moisture levels, helping to plump and smooth the skin. WHAT DOES PRP TREATMENT DO FOR YOUR HAIR?PRP can help prevent or slow hair loss and stimulate growth of hair, especially after a transplant. It does this by stimulating the cells in the hair follicle and by improving blood supply to the hair follicle. It is proven to increase hair count, thicken hair and elongate the growth phase of the growth cycle for hair.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE BEFORE I SEE RESULTS?For skin treatments, patients often start to see results approximately a week after treatment. Peak improvement is usually seen between 1-3 months after treatment, as this as given time for new collagen to form. For hair treatments, you may notice a difference by 2 weeks, however the most noticeable results are seen between 3 and 6 months after treatment.
-
HOW LONG DOES PRP LAST?For your first ever PRP treatment, regardless of whether it is for your skin or hair, we always recommend getting 3 treatments, each spaces approximately 4-6 weeks apart. This helps to kick start the rejuvenation process and provide longer lasting results. After three treatments, results usually last between 12 and 24 months. To maintain effects, patients often return for treatment top-ups every 6-12 months – these top ups typically consist of only one treatment and not a course of 3. It is possible to have just 1 or 2 treatments in the beginning, however results will not be as dramatic or long lasting.
-
HOW LONG DOES A VAMPIRE FACIAL/PRP TREATMENT TAKE?The whole process takes approximately an hour, however this will vary depending on how many areas you treat.
-
IS MICRONEEDLING THE SAME AS A VAMPIRE FACIAL/PRP TREATMENT?Microneedling is when tiny “microscopic” hole are made to the skin. This process stimulates your skin to heal itself, which boosts collagen. Fine lines, scars, acne scarring and uneven skin tone are all improved. PRP treatment involves using your own PRP (platelet rich plasma) which contains several components which in turn stimulate healing of the skin. The PRP can be delivered into the skin after microneedling. However, it can also be delivered using injections for deeper penetration into the skin tissues. Like microneedling alone, PRP helps fine lines, scars, acne scarring and uneven skin tone – however the results are more dramatic and longer lasting than they would be with microneedling alone. PRP also helps hair loss and thinning when used in the scalp – microneedling does not.

How fast do exosomes work?Generally, our patients can start noticing improvements within a few days to weeks after the treatment. This rapid effect is due to the powerful, regenerative properties of exosomes, which facilitate cellular communication and repair. While initial results can be visible quickly, optimal outcomes typically develop over a few months as the skin continues to improve and heal. Repeated sessions are often needed for the best results. The efficacy and speed of exosomes make them a popular choice for those seeking effective enhancements with minimal downtime.
-
Can exosomes regrow hair?Yes, exosome therapy is a cutting-edge treatment offered by Dr Naz that has shown promising results in hair regrowth. Exosomes are small vesicles that contain growth factors and signalling molecules, which can rejuvenate hair follicles and promote hair growth. Unlike traditional treatments, exosomes target cellular regeneration at a deeper level, making them a potent option for hair restoration. During the procedure, exosomes are applied to the scalp where they initiate the repair and regeneration of hair follicles, leading to thicker and fuller hair.
-
What are exosomes good for?At Dr Naz Clinics, exosome treatments are utilized to enhance skin rejuvenation and repair. They can also be used in the scalp to promote hair growth. These treatments are beneficial for a variety of purposes, such as reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improving skin texture and tone, and accelerating the healing process after procedures like microneedling or laser therapy. Exosomes are rich in growth factors, cytokines, and genetic material that boost collagen production and promote healthier, more youthful-looking skin. When used in the scalp, exosomes help to stimulate dormant hair follicles, enhance hair density, and improve the overall quality and thickness of your hair.
